I would love to have you join me in The Rite of Consecration as a Lutheran Deacon in the LDA. The Rite will take place in a Eucharistic Liturgy at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 15, 2014, at Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church, 1509 27th Ave NE Minneapolis, MN 55418.
The offering for the day will be shared between The LDA: Community of Lutheran Deacons and Sole Care for Souls which is an agency that provides medical foot care for the homeless in the name of Christ.
As well as a financial offering, you are invited to bring Crocs, especially in children’s sizes, 7 and under, which will be taken by a mission team from Gustavus Adolphus to San Lucas Mission Guatemala which provides care and support for the people in the region.
